Look what she found today...

I have mixed feelings about her being a thumb sucker. On one hand I don't want her to be 6 and still doing it. On the other hand it's a pacifier that she can keep up with and decide when she wants it. Such as 3 a.m.

Don't worry about it now. Let her have what she wants. Don't worry about problems that haven't happened yet. Cal is a thumb sucker, but she only does it when she's tired or sleeping. I'll approach that problem when it becomes one. My brother stopped on his own at one. Most kids stop around 3. For me, it was a lifesaver. Calyn is such a great sleeper and I contribute it to her thumb sucking. She can easily find it in the middle of the night and go back to sleep on her own. My sister is having problems with pacifiers because her baby loves it and if it pops out at night she starts crying and Steph has to go in and pop it back in several times at night. I didn't have to do that because of the thumb:)

SERIOUSLY cute picture. I love how bright eyed she is. Halle hasn't found her thumb, but her index finger works from time to time.

I loved that Ian found his thumb. Afton is my first pacifier baby and it's driving me nuts. I'm thinking about weaning her from it now and sticking her hands in her mouth for her. Lane is SO CUTE!!
