Well, I think most of you know by now that we are moving. Not far thank goodness just to Prairieville. Actually it's only a few miles from where we live now. You turn by where Blue Bayou is and then go past that big Santa Maria neighborhood on the left and then you veer to the right at the light and turn left into our neighborhood. It's called Manchac Place. I'm excited about it but not looking foward to the moving part. I just hope people still come over and don't think its too far. Because right now we are so close to all of our best friends. The Hutchinsons and Rabalais, and Huddlestons are practically a stone's throw from where we are now. I just hope this house becomes a home fast and that it has a homey feel that people like to come to. That's one of main reasons I liked the house is because it had a nice comfortable feeling to it. Plus it had my must haves like gas stove, no carpet, and darker colored floors to hide dirt. Those were my only must haves so I'm happy. I'm looking foward to having my friends and family there so they can make it a home.

Congrats! That is right down the way from us. Pville is a lot closer than people think it is. So you can be in our ward now! Goody :) I'm excited for yall!

My family lives close-by there in the Bluff Oaks neighborhood. They really like the area, and they have really enjoyed the 3rd ward. I'm sure it's gonna be great!

we wanted a darker wood floor, too, to hide the dirt. it's funny how we looked for a way to keep things dirty, not how to keep it clean.
good luck with your move.
